MY MOROCCAN SPA

Hammam’s have played a significant part in Moroccan culture for centuries. Used by Moroccans at least once a week, this ritual based body treatment involved steaming, scrubbing and massaging of the skin until it glows.  Not only was the hammam experience beneficial to the body, but also to the mind and soul.  It was a place where women would meet, engage in discussion and bond.  A place where you leave your stress and worries behind and walk out as a new person.

We believe there is a unique synergy between modern day science and ancient holistic techniques that will accentuate these benefits.  This is where the idea of My Moroccan Spa came to life.  Maha Berkan; a mother, wife, and entrepreneur, found that in today’s digital world, there was a real need for a place where women can take a break from the stress of everyday life. She had come to realize how seemingly endless her responsibilities can become. Her vision was to create a judgment-free environment, where women are welcome and their well-being and comfort are prioritized…an experience far beyond skincare. This was the genesis of what would soon become My Moroccan Spa.

My Moroccan Spa is designed by women, for women. A place where you check your responsibilities, to-dos, errands, and worries at the door. A place where you are pampered physically, mentally, and spiritually.

My Moroccan Spa; our name says it all. It reflects our identity, energy, hospitality, and the idea of sharing the space and experience in a way where you feel like this is your own personal private island.
